Would like to run an idle of 1500 -2000 rpm for less turbo stalling when chopping throttle under high boost.

First off when I try to run a little higher idle it activates the tors so I disconected that (temporarily) Tried raising it again and the throttle doesn't return when you give it a squeeze then release quick. Is this a lean issue or can I adjust this with the tps? thanks guy's ,ken

You can't adjust with the TPS. You need to turn the screw that opens the gates. Its goldish colored and about in the middle of the rack of carbs where the cable hooks on. Tightening this screw should NOT affect the TORS. Also do NOT adjust the sync screws to alter idle.

If this is what you've tried doing, then you may have a bad TORS switch. I had a bad TORS carb side switch once, when it got cold the switch would hold the throttle open slightly more than when it was warm. Could also be an issue with idle jetting.

Didn't mess with the tps, don't intend to either.Just want to raise my idle but when i raise the idle the throttle won't return quick and sometimes sticks. This used to happen on my 4stroke dirt bike to,i'm thinking its a lean issue so thinking about maybe putting in richer pilots maybe?

Ken,

What about trying a BOV? I don't think a higher idle is going to prevent turbo stalling.

What you are describing is exactly what a BOV is designed for.
