I ride alone too for the most part. My speed, my trail, when i want, how i want, get home when i want, (not-->"I have to be home by 6 to take my wife out to eat"-PUKE!) You get the picture, lol. Someday i'll break, or crash and it'll bite me, but i ride pretty responsibly. I work 4-ten hour days, so Thursday nights and Fridays can get pretty lonely if you have a problem.
 
I hear ya I work 4 10s also I bring my phone with and most places I have signal so hopefully if anything happens I can phone a friend.
 
I never ride by myself, only because I always have someone to ride to. Whether its my dad or my friends theres always someone. But when Im dirtbiking, I'll go out for 20min or so by myself. Always take my phone with me.

Like you Spike, it has bit me before. I ran out of gas on the bike and lost my kickstarter then stalled my bike. But I always made it home one way or another.

If we don't start getting more snow, I'm gonna load up the freakin' trailer and head out- be there to ride with ya'! ;)!

...Only 21 hours, 8 minutes & 1165.72 miles (be home later hunny) :)
