Put in new plugs and yosimaria pipe now I think I hit the rev limiter?? Whats it set at and do you think these little mods would do this?? If so what do you mod guys run for weights. Stock gearing stock clutching. Would only hit 8900 last year.

if the clutch wasn't warmed up it will slip and over rev...? mine over revved today when I was In 4 feet of pow or so

Everything was warm on hard packed trail only mods as mentioned first little ride of the season.

that is real wierd! when I out my pipe on mine didn't over rev... were u spining lots? other than that clean ur clutch... maybe weights are sticking

if its out of the hole and if you arent studded then youre wasting your time trying to determine over rev..
if you are..and its not but on top end...you need more tip weight (heavier rivet)or more helix angle on the exit....or different weights

Whats is the RPM for rev limmiter. It is spinning out of the hole I know that, just wonder if guys with these mods put in heaver weights

You're over revving now because your mods are yielding more hp. Exact same thing happened to me, exact same mods. You need to add weight to the primary and bring those revs back down to 8900-9000 rpms. I'd get either some Drag n Fly's or Ulmer clutching to achieve this.

I have a set of weights to play with, just wondering what you started with for weight?? Sled making a popping sound on hard acceleration.
