New Axis Shocks, DUal Rate Center with High Low compresion and rebound.

Piggy back rear with High/low and rebound.

Dual Rate front with High low and rebound,

Ran them this weekned seem tot work realy well. Spring rate seemed soft as inside ski lift was an issue,. Gonna play with the helper spring on the front shock and go from there

yup they work Darn good!! The fox shocks were also great but these are even better. If I wasn't racing I personally think those fox shocks give you all you would ever need. But to much varying terrain gave the need for more adjustments

Those look insane seth!!! I am really thinking of racing cross country next year but i don't know what to get. I am a big guy 6'4 250 but i can't decide if i should get a phazer, nytro, or a etec 600. I would have to obviously do suspension to all of them but i just cant decide what i want. Your phazers look like alot of fun though!!!

Seemed soft…well that is how it’s designed…

Put more twist on nut controlling to upper spring is not going to help stiffen the lower spring..you will only change the linearity…at the most compressed end of the main spring…

Like any performance stuff..you need lots of parts to tune, and with Axis…..you have a really good base.

I see you have it pretty cranked in already…You will need a main spring with a higher rate to get what you want.

Some dual spring shocks have an independent nut to adjust or space out the lower spring...

A fix may be to machine a …say…40 mm spacer and put that between the 2 springs..that will..in affect…..,increase the rate of your primary spring.

rjh you are correct actually we run no preload so to speak on them we left the tender alone and went to a 188 main spring. We also decreased the cross over to let it work longer in the stutters. Really worked well this weekend. We also slowed the rebound down on the rea shock after seeing the track

Phazer with AXIS shocks

I replaced my Phazer's shocks with Axis remote res. shocks and love how they work plus added the spring spacer in the mix to round out the suspension changes. Have reworked the Ohlins shocks on my Apex with Pioneer performance doing the revalving and added Eibach dual rate springs that are the best money I have ever spent. I know that the Phazer will never ride as smooth as the Apex does with the suspension upgrades but its about as good as it gets. Attached are some pics of the new Phazer shocks

Sorry had to resize the pics to upload them to TY

Nope just letting guys know what is working on the sled! I am selling my old fox shocks though in the classifieds. I got a sponsored deal through axis. So if you need shocks you could talk to them but i don't know pricing on them.

Veddy veddy niiice guys..... Custom Axis makes some damn good shocks in the ATV racing world...In fact about as good as it gets.
