Hood grill alignment

I took my hood apart to add LED light bulbs and it seems like something isn’t right with the grill alignment. Does anyone know off the top of there head what the issue might be? It wasn’t perfect before I took it apart, but now it seems worse. It acts like the two outside pieces are too long and buckle outward.

Never had that apart but sure looks like there is tabs that aren’t in slot on yours or slot is missing.

There are tabs the should recess into the black plastic hood. The hood comes apart and you can reassemble it correctly.

Mines been like that since new. Tried to adjust for a better fit and gave up. More fine Cat quality.

I did have all four tabs locked in that you see from the bottom side of the hood. I guess I’ll leave it for now and just ride it.

I put these in from amazon. Didn’t get in the snow yet.
