Hot grip help.

I have a 06 apex MTX and have handwarmers that have three wires coming off of them but the apex only has two wires to the warmers. They were hooked up on an apex before but want to make sure it will work. I have the common, black with red hooked to the blue and white wires. Confusing but I'll post picture. Will this work??????

yes it will work I have done the same thing on mine when the oem one failed i went eith the type you are speaking of. dont do just on you will notice the diffrence ask me how i know...

Ok I have it wired to the stock switch still so I have all the different settings. Which I don't really care about idk as long as it will work it's good with me

yes the stock adjusters will work still

You have the RSI heaters. In the pic they are wired correctly and they will work just like the factory grip heaters. Yamaha sells the RSI kit as a replacement.
