My primary clutch gets hot fast it has 2500km on 08 rtx it does not blow belts but the sheves are starting to get a grove in them not bad but its there clutches are alined and ofset is bag on I think they need more air one them maybe there's something I don't no about this I have only had it for two months and 800km so far. Some help on this would be great.

Its pretty common if you are using the yammy belt and cruising at a consistent speed.

i think by nature a clutch is going to get hot fast due to it's function - similiar to a brake rotor. are you using an infrared thermometer to check the clutch temp - are you benchmarking your machine against another similiar model?

Thanks for the input iam comparing Polaris and skidoo and Artic clutches i have not seen get that warm I think cuting a hole out and ading frog skin would help a lot what does every one think of that.

slp makes some pop in vents. cut holes with 2.5 inch hole saw and pop them in. installed on our old rev because clutches would get so hot you couldnt touch em.
