Anyone know what the conditions are like in the Houghton area?
The Houghton TY ride is coming up next week and the snow maps aren't looking too good. Has me a bit concerned......

So far it looks like the best snow is south of the bridge around Twin Lakes.

Is the bridge down? I'm sure the matt isn't down, but I certainly hope the bridge is down ... otherwise, we are f-'d for going south.
I've see all the lake effect storm warnings out this week. Did they come to fruition?

Not sure about Houghton, but rained/drizzled all night here in Marquette.
Never got below freezing all night.

I'm sorry to say it ... but we're gonna have to throw in the towel. Hope to see everyone at the next ride.

I understand... I would say the TY Ride is formally called off. I will be up there doing testing and searching for some snow to run on so, if anyone has nothing better to do, come on up and join us.
