I've read back several pages and there were a few guys who had put them in in mid March and haven't posted a follow up with it yet , (that I've seen) So how are they working , any concerns , dependability , like the H.p. it makes , still snappy ? All info would be cool .

My understanding was that MPI experienced some HP loss with aftermarket exhaust. Their 230+ HP figures on their website; as I understand are on 50/50 race fuel and premium with stock exhaust. I'm guessing on 100ll with the mid-performance SC you will see aroung mid 220 HP range. At least thats what I will be hoping for when I order mine with my Whiteknuckle exhaust.

If you are running the QC-1 exhaust you will want to look for something different. When that exhaust was tested it showed higher intake charge temps due to more back pressure caused by the "H" design rather than the crossover design in the exhaust like the stock system has. MPI only recommends either the stock system or the Bender loud system as of right now with their supercharger.

I have over 600 miles on my MPI supercharger. ( 50 to 60 miles a day is a full day where we ride). I am still having very good luck with it, other than self induced mistakes, IE carb bowl screws and intercooler carb clamps. I'm still running the stock gearing 21/40, 127.5 jets. (a little rich), fuel screws at 1 1/4. (Remember this is at 6000 to 10,000 ft. Jetting and fuel screws will need to be adjusted for lower elevation). I am using straight 110 race gas. I am not telling anyone to run av gas but if they do (instead of using race gas), they will need to richen the main jets and the fuel screws. Also if anyone is mixing race gas and pump gas half and half they will probably also need to richen the main jet and fuel screw slightly more than when running straight race gas. My engine is still very sound and runs great. I am still very pleased with my MPI supercharger and it's performance. For me and my riding style this was the best choice. Well I haven't ridden for a while, I've been riding my new Goldwing Trike at the Laughlin River Run last week. When I left home we were receiving more new snow and I came home to more new snow so I guess it's back to sleding. :yam: :D ;)! LaLaLa
