It's the cover for the bearing behind the secondary clutch. I searched on here and have come up empty handed. I've been prying on it and it only moves maybe 1/16

I usually pull the chain case cover but this video shows how to remove the jackshaft with the bearing. If you repack the bearing then just pop off the seal with a small screwdriver or pick.

I always repacked that one by removing the snap ring and pulling the seal. no need to pull it unless changing it

So that metal piece I was trying to get off doesn't come off unless the whole shaft is removed.

The bearing is pressed into carrier and also on the shaft so it's easier to deal with with the jackshaft out.
seal comes out with a pick. I start gently on the seal next to the inside race of bearing.

Should pick it from the outside. The inside is the sealing lip that the bearing rotates on and you don't want to damage that.
I use a brass pick or a toothpick. Never had any trouble and never distorted a seal. Much easier from the inner.Should pick it from the outside. The inside is the sealing lip that the bearing rotates on and you don't want to damage that.

I feel like an idiot putting the stuff for the secondary back together and stupid me forgot how it goes back together.... Is it little snap ring, washers then big snap ring or is it washers little snap ring then big snap ring?
I know the big snap ring is to hold the seal in place. The little snap ring won't get into the Grove on the shaft of the 3 whashers are behind it. I'm looking at the diagram and it doesn't make sense.
It feels like the seal is all the way in cause I cant push it in anymore and I only have room to get the little snap ring in place.
Doesn't help none that I'm a little buzzed up
