How do you know what skis you need?????????????????????????

The problem with the precision skis is that they are narrow and shallow. There is a greater tendancy for them to sink down (which can cause loss of control and possibly death), but a lower tendancy for them to really bite in (more push in the corners) - AS COMPARED to simmons.

Why don't you try to use just one dually runner and one regulare runner and try Lazys setup should compromize enough that you don't have any push and still carve well.

I haven't tried Ski-doo's. but I have tried Simmon's, C&A, Stock and POwder pro's. WIth out a doubt, the SImmon's were the best setup on the RX-1. They totally change the sleds handling in my opinion. Much more stable.

Hey Lazy-- just curious, did you ever ride a Warrior with precision ski's???

Welt, I have the Simmons too. LB and LeeKo are correct in that the Simmons make a major difference in the RX's handling. A Poo guy riding behind me on a recent trip even commented that I was able to take turns more aggressive then him. His comment was unsolicited.

Well guys i bought a like new set of BLUE C&A pro trail skis from someone on amsnow!!

$165 shipped!! They only have 200 miles on them and come with like new 8 inch carbides...

I think i got a pretty good deal...

I didnt want to purhase a new set of skis and not have them make a difference.. Atleast this way if i dont like them i can resell them without a loss!!

I will try them and let you know!!

Thanks for the help everyone!! :D

I'm using PowderPros with 8" Bergstrom carbides. Deep keel ski, with wide powder wings on the side for better flotation in soft snow.

No push.

Only downside is the ski stance is about 2 - 3" wider, makes it a bit tight going through narrow gates.
