I would think you should keep it as cool as possible, the hotter it gets in summer would mean more pressure and assume it would not last as long as if it was cool down in basement maybe?...
not sure, but Im sure others here who have more experience with NOS can chime in here

still waiting for some fittings for my NOS kit,so sled is in peices still in my shop..lol.
maybe this week when i get kit done,Ill be able to get out here on my lake....however they are calling for 50+ degrees thursday and rain...i just would LOVE to get at least one day to test this NOS before I pack it in for the winter...our trails are done now but lakes still have over 12 inches ice...just need a few cool enough days to radar this.
Ill surely keep this forum posted..

I've had N2O in the bottle for over 2 years and it still worked just fine. As long as it doesn't leak out of the bottle, or over-pressurize and blow the safety valve I imagine you can keep it for years and years.

Beerman is correct, as I keep the bottles in my basement cellar. Only problem is I keep running out from usage.....
