How many did they make?

- I've acquired a new to me '08 40th Apex LTX GT and have been wondering just how many 40th edition sleds that Yamaha made.

- Hundreds, thousands, anyone know?

- I've tried searching the web, but couldn't find anything.

- All help is appreciated!

Go over to the Yamaha Guy on Yamaha sled talk and ask him maybe he can get that info for you/us.

I'd gather figure is in the hundreds of LTX Apex 40th sleds. Add hundreds or thousands more regular Apex 40ths. Hundreds more Apex MTX sleds also. Just a guess.

I've got one... I've only seen 1 other LTX and one other short track(a buddy bought his at the same time as me, same dealer)... My is in its last transformations into a crosscountry machine now... 151 tunnel, 144 track... so it will be a one off for sure.

- That's why I asked. 2 of my buddies have them. 1 a Vector and one has the LTX GT.

- You don't see as many of the Apex and Vector's as much as you see the Nytro's.

Did they make both 121 and 136 apex in the 40th edition? I can only remeber the ltx. Anyway, I own a 40th nytro, and my dad has a vector 40th. Another model to add to the list is the 40th nytro mtx.

- From what I understand there was a 121 in the Vector and the Apex.
- The LTX GT Apex is 136, as well as the MTN Apex.
- And of course the two Nytro's.

- So that's 6 models in the 40th trim, but I'd like to know how many of each were produced.

- I'll be talking to a Yamaha rep in a couple of weeks. Maybe he'll know.

Theres no way,yamaha made 100,000 units,of any sled in one year,i think the total number of all the units yamaha makes per year at around 60,000 maybe a tad more for world wide. My guess if you are looking for a number of all 40th edition sleds,on 121,136,and mountain apex,proberly around 10,000 or less.

- That's the number I was thinking too.
- Just for me, I'd like to find out how many of my sled, and possibly what number is was.
- ie - #x of 2000.

That's the thing, they weren't a limited build or a #'d series, it's just paint. No different in me saying how many Vector LTX GT's they built in 08. You could get the Vector in 2 LTX trims, black/red with regular shocks or the blue/white with the clicker shocks.
