True Gunmaker, it almost seems like my RX-1 has become like a "Hot Rod".
There sure was a lot of hard work that went into building the sled into something special, it sure would be hard to part with anytime soon. Saving it for "sunny days" and taking it for a spin just might do the trick.

TT, ZX-2 has been great, I need to pull it out and have a look at the skid before the snow flys. but so far no problems I bought it when they first came in 07 I think. still have original sliders on it.

sold my Supercharged 04 in November 08
Neither me or my friends have any desire to sled anymore after losing a friend in an Avy.
Getting more into boating/wakeboarding.
My snowmobiling days are over I think.

I'm so sorry to hear that SoCoRX1. I certainly can understand and respect your decision.
Meat, nice pictures. The cat guys watching you fly by (as it looks like they are stuck) is very cool!
Take care

Yes both rmk 800 and m1000 were stuck and after I flew by them my buds turbo phazer flew by as well. At 8000ft the turbos really shine.

I'd keep your sled as it sounds like you have too much into it (both financially and emotionally) to sell it without regrets. If you don't need to sell it, just keep it as a backup sled and have the option to ride it whenever you get the whim.
With me, I find myself pining over certain sleds I sold that I really liked. I wish I would have never sold my '98 Ski-doo MXZx 440 LC race sled.
I've got an '05 Vector short track that I've modified with a 136" M-10, GYTR front shocks, white knuckle exhaust, Boss seat, rider forward kit, VK Professional skis and reverse. While it isn't light, it is a very versatile sled that can be ridden at putt putt speeds with the kids, tow disabled sleds, ride fast on the trails and play up in the mountains. I'm not worried about the motor and plan to just keep riding the sled and keep it around for many years to come. I'd never be able to sell it for what I've got into it but that doesn't matter since the sled can fulfill so many of the needs I have for a snowmachine.

i'd still be running my 03 if a carb slide didn't stick and melt a piston (due to lean condition under boost)
Trouble free sled, even being boosted on a totally stock engine it made 7000kms, half of those boosted on pump gas only
Now i have an 05 front mount turbo that i got pretty cheap. Can't beat the boost!

Hi guys! Still here and still have the good old RX1M. I have the same feelings that you have Frosty so I let my friends ride it and have fun with it.
I still remember joining TY due to the problems I kept having and to think, if this site wasn't around I'd probably trash the sled......well almost
