How many of you turbo or other guys with engine mods will be making a better clutch guard for your sled. I seriously think that needs to be looked at even if only running the trail. I had a clutch explode this summer and thanks to a good clutch guard no one got hurt and not much damage was done to the actual sled. My recommendations would be to use .125" thick aluminum and enclose the clutch down to the clutch bolt on the primary & secondary, if you're worried about heat build up then put some louvers in it or put some holes in it to lighten it up! THINK SAFETY FIRST!

Clutch Guard
Is this something that is available or would it have to be fabricated? Another question would be who is going to upgrade to a better clutch like the Micro Belmont Billet 4 poster? I am in favor of anything that increases reliability.

if there is some interest in having a better clutch guard built i could look into building one. i really don't think it would cost all that much. i know a few people who are upgrading to a microbelmont or a hulings clutch.

Clutch Guard
I would be interested, let me know if you decide. Can you use Yamaha springs in either of those clutches? I have a ton of them, both long and short and really don't want to start over again buying new springs.
