how many pics are you guys running and what size is max for general trail riding in a 05 Venture, is there a rule of thumb? I run about 100 1.45's on my warrior 136" but this is a 144" track so I am unsure. I am running the 1.25 ripsaw and I just want extra bite on the ice. Also, I have never installed tunnel protectors before. Is this a decent job or very technical on measurements etc.... thanks!

On my '06 Nytro. I run 96 down the center belt of the track, in a V pattern, repeating every 4 gaps. They're Woody's stainless studs, with aluminum backers. I think they're only 1.37" studs. They don't stick out very far from the lug of the track. The dealer installed them, before I picked it up. When I studded my '04 Venom, I had to remove the driveshaft and track, to properly install the protectors for the front heat exchanger. I tried getting around it, but ended up losing one; fortunately with no damage. So, do it right the first time, and you won't have to do it twice.
thanks man.. I will do it once and do it right.

I would run 2 studs in each row, so I think that is 118 studs for a 144" track. For the 1.25" ripsaw I would run a 1.375" stud.
ended up running 114 as there are 57 bars on this track... 2 per bar.
