How many times will Yamaha replace ball joints?

I have the 08 nytro with 2400 miles and no play in the ball joints.every 300 miles or so i wipe the old grease off and apply new low temp. grease to the top of the joints. gravity and motion will lube the entire joint. it only has to work in 1/4 inch or so to reach the center.

I started greasing them to got 3200 miles on balljoints and still no play , My ski bolt bushing are shoot ane a-arm bushings anyway i don't know how many times they will change them i thought the first set was warranty

a- arms getting loose too. ski bushings i lube every summer.

I was told yesterday that Yamaha is only going to replace them once, cause your suppose to take them apart and grease them up. Mine are all shot, I have about 8500-9000kms on my 09, so did good I guess compaired to some others, I guess I really didn't notice or check them until lately, that's why. Figured I'd put a new set on now and by the end of next year get them done again at the end of the 3 yr warranty. Guess that won't be the case with some dealers. exhaust gaskets gone also, same as the Apex except the y-pipe seems to be made out of heavier material. Didn't break like the Apex did.

Your dealer should be able to get another set for you, T, my dealer has a second set for my RTX at the shop ready and waiting for install. 6100 kms total and the lowers are clunking again, first set was replaced last year, warranty is covering this 2nd set as well.

Does anyone in the aftermarket make a set of these that holds up better??
