I'm reading that the Bender turbo is quite loud!
Is it annoying like some of those exhaust cans that claim to add HP and do nothing but sound sick?
I still have to trail ride this thing with friends.

It sound really cool in my opinion. It is definetly louder than stock, but is not real noticable when riding. Bender is working on a quieter muffler for those who don't like the noise. It is not the irritating high pitch noise that some cans make, it is a COOL sound. Theres nothing like hearing (or seeing!) a turbo take a long pull up a hill. Hope this helps.

Stage II without muffler is loud.... sounds good, yet i believe most neighbors and friends will not like it ....... if you are a 90% lake racer and 10% trail, let them all get ear plugs......... I would opt for the muffler for trail purposes...

It sounds great coming off the trailer ;)! The crowd will love it  NOW maybe I'm a little sensative, BUT, even wearing ear plugs, and after a couple hundred miles of trail riding I'm ready for a stop riding for the day :( If I was to do it all over again I would go with the CPR turbo or the new S/C ;)! Quiet and FAST

Benders quiet muffler is in the catalog for this season, it should be available this winter.

IF WE EVER GET WINTER

Thanks guys... you're a big help.
What I need to do is keep the Turbo for the lake and get a 600 for the trails.
God I hate sending $5,000 on a sled mod when the grass is green in January
