Ive been searching and messing around with my suspension. I have a 09 fx nytro with 144 mack studs I would like to be able to fly out of the hole? wut adjustments should be made with this i want to get the perfect setup so my ride is still some what decent and get my steering alot better. While still transferring weight and coming out of the hole quick which its not really doing now.
Thanks

If you still have the ripsaw on there i wouldn't get your hopes up for a rocket holeshot.

I thought the ripsaws were suppose to be good?
Do u fly out of the hole? wut do u run for a track?

Remove the anti-transfer blocks near the rear wheels. You will get better transfer but not better steering.

What do you mean by worse steering? Lighter steering?

Removing the transfer blocks will give you full weight transfer. You will take off like a rocket with your skis 2 feet off the snow and they won't come down until you let off the throttle. Anytime you squeeze the throttle your skis will come off the snow. So your steering and handling for trail riding will be not so good.

is there away to do this without loosing so much control of the sled tho like other suspension mods i mean i dont want to make the sled dangerous i just want the best of both worlds lol

yeah the whole handling thing on the nytro is a never ending discussion on this site. Lots of different opinions on how to do it.

Try moving your sway bar bolt on the front suspension to the other hole. Also heard that tightening up the REAR limiter strap 1 hole can help. We re-valved the rear shocks on my brothers nytro and it seems to have helped a lot with the overall handling of the sled, and also made it ride about 10x nicer.

Imagine you hear keys turning in the lock a day earlier than expected.

I don't believe that what he was talking about, It depends if you run trail or offtrail, or the lake. If its just hardpack the cobra is a very good so i hear studded of course. A good lake track is any 1" track good for speed on the top end, studded too usually. OR a track like mine which is meant to hook up off the trail better than on, still works on teh trail but not a well as the cobra i would bet. I cant run studs with the Backcountry 1.75 as there are no protectors left in my tunnel or exchanger to make room for the extroverts i installed and the track to clear. I dont want studs I am happy with her the way she is.
