Over the summer i want to inprove my nytro. what would be the best setup for it? I do not want to dive into the motor. no turbo or supercharger.what should i do. very open to suggestions.

:yam:

I put Slydog Race skis on mine with 6" carbides and added a 1.5" Intense Powder track. Steering is heavier than an FX Nytro with stock skis/rubbers flipped, but it's a whole other level in precise handling as well ! I couldn't believe how well this sled took the turns yesterday, it's by far the best handling sled I have ever tried in the twisties !!! The harder I pushed it, the better it turned, and no inside ski lift either, just make sure you throw yourself around on the sled. Lean, point, and squeeze ! ;)!

I agree with the clutching, pipe and gears. All are significant modifications.
Ulmer Racing has a nice Excell Header System and Clutch set-ups which include weights, springs and Helix. Different stages to choose from.
I think they are coming up with a Mod Air Box for the NYTRO as well.
But if you want to be "untouchable", you may have to go with the turbo or supercharger. Big expense though!
Good luck

Why not throw some domed pistons in it to bump up the compression? Nothin serious, but in the range where you'd have to run on 92 pump gas. Maybe a port and valve job too? It's still cheaper than boost and as far as I know, more compression = more HP
