What did you have your shocks set for psi? Close to max? Or what you normally run them at. If I ran my shocks at 30psi I wouldn't have rubbing issues but any higher psi they rub.I don't remember the length change from 38" to 36" if there was one. The way I did it was to drop the suspension out as far as I wanted it to, and then cycled the bars through all ranges of steering. when I was sure the tie rod would clear the lower arms and such, I measured the length eye to eye length and that is what I had my shocks shortened to.

That's because of the negative spring in there. I wouldn't count on that as a limiter any snow or ice on ski will affect it. Not safe. 30 psi isn't rideable anyway. What did you have your shocks set for psi? Close to max? Or what you normally run them at.
