ANyone got any good tips on how to wash the cover? I got one that I want to sell, as well as one that is pretty dirty? I was thinkin put it in the wash machine when the wife aint home...

Maybe then let it air dry?

I put mine in the washing machine at a laundry mat of course in a front loader and hang it in my garage it comes out good as new.

I wash my clutches in the dishwasher cover in the wash machine should be no problem. :-o

This is good to know. If you ever invite me over for dinner I'm bringing paper plates.

I've used our front loading washing machine for the covers and it seems to work fine. If you don't have a front loader, the launder mat or a self-serve car wash with high pressure sprayers are good options too.

You dog Where at? I rented the whole 2nd floor of the Old road house in Pence just outside Hurley on traill 77 by Squeeks for the entire winter. I got 4 rooms with 2 double beds a tv room and 4 bathrooms till April. A large private lot in the rear to leave the trailer and a heated 2 car garage.

I bought a Turboed RX mountain the other night An RMK 900 159" about 2 months ago and just finished my latest 05 RX-1 project. All to go along with my other 05 RX, 03 RX 99 vmax 600 and bendered 700 sx its going to be a goooood yr. LaLaLa

Don't go crazy with the laundry detergent if you wash it in a clothes washer. I once overdid it with my first Yamaha cover and washed away a lot of the wax coating that serves as the waterproofing. My cover wound up having a nice tiger stripe look...

take it to the laundromat, but use woolite black - it doesnt have any bleach in it so it wont fade the cover - i would even dry it - on low heat to just get it close.

I just did mine in the washer when the wife wasn't home. We just have a regular washing machine not a front loader but its an extra large. I put in a little tide and ran it through. I ran it on an extra rinse cycle and hung it in the basement next to the wood furnace to dry. Came out looking like new. Now Im gunna spray some scotch guard water proofer on it and it should be good to go..
