Hows this for a security kill switch?

I was looking for a source of constant 12volts under the dash for a dummy alarm light when I stumbled upon the fuel injection relay wire. This red with green wire is always hot. Seems to me a simple switch could break this circuit nicely resulting in a no run situation. Anybody know if deenergizing this relay for extended periods of time is bad? Cant be any worse that if your battery craps out on you. Now to find a switch location...........

Good idea, and for more security get yourself some sort of car or bike alarm, where you can wire in a relay that only turns on with the remote. Then duct tape a spare remote and key somewhere on the sled for when you lose it. I know these are available, I have 1.
