Hurricane/Gap Push to pass button

What I dont get is that wire is not going to reach the cig lighter or is this referring to a plug ground near the chaincase ?
No. Lighter. Are you missing extension? Take a pic of what you have. Flasher isn’t placed by chaincase with button at least on one I did.

Gotcha. That uses 1 of my extra harness. Extend diagnostic port to hood plug side and mount flasher there. Thanks again

Suggestions for flasher mount locations on the hood plug side other than in the goggle bag? It starts to get crowded for placing the hood just right with all the new wires.
Right in front of where bag goes and run the plug for extension right next to original hood plug so its right there when you remove hood.

Thanks to Cannondale for alerting me that the flasher gets a new location. I had something similar in mind with it under the goggle bag but the frame/steering bushing is kinda in the way.

There are newer instructions that I did not find on my own. I PMd GAP and he sent me the link for TD.

Maybe its just me, but they should make these things easier to find. In addition, instead of now having the flasher conveniently velcro-ed to the back of the chain case the harness dictates the flasher port and flasher be close enough to the cig lighter accessory port to use the black to ground double spade on back of the lighter port.

I am considering modifying the harness (ground at accessory power) to keep the flasher in the old location because it seems much easier to me that way. I wont have any extra plugs to remove the hood that way and I don't like the way my hood sits with that added large wire harness coming from the gauge area. For now I mocked all the wiring up "their" way and the button works which is cool but the 3 bar sensor and Turbosmart BOV are causing a sensor fault with my tunes.

I cut the double spade ground wire off and put an extension wire with an eyelet on it and grounded the button to the frame. This way the flasher is back behind the chain case and not in my hood. I do not have either o the extension harnesses installed and only have the factory hood plug to deal with when taking the hood off.
