Love my hurricane turbo! I ran my first sorta race today against a 2003 rx1 bender turbo running 8-9 pounds and smoked it by a whole sled length! It was on a powder/ packed base and I had him from the start, he never was able to catch up. After we ran he got back and said holy crap how much boost are you running I told him a little under 6 pounds and he was amazed with how fast it was. I finally got my clutching really close to where it should be and I can do 95 in 5" powder whenever I want. The fastest I have gone so far was 103 but that was on a half packed half powder base and a really short run, that is most certainly not all it has I just ran out of room. This thing is crazy I couldn't imagine 230+

Stain what model is your sled. Everyone is just throwing out gear numbers nobody is specifying which sled and therefore driversMan, I thought I geared up enough---you guys are making me rethink it now.
I have a LTX and went 22-41 also. Ulmer said that's good for 122mph. That should be plenty fast

Yep, 22-41 is good for 132mph on 9 tooth (ltx) drivers if you have the power to pull it. This is over kill on a 190 kit.
21-41 is a good combo on a 190 kit with 9 tooth 2.86

Took Viper out on Lake Simcoe this morning. Ran at 113.7 mph(183 km/h) on glare ice and the temp was +2 over here this morning. But once again pretty impressed with the Hurricane turbo kit. I know it will go faster on hard pack snow and colder temps.
