Just got my first real good run in with the 190hp kit. I got Daves clutch kit,gears and chain mod also. I ran 117mph on a small lake and still wasn't WOT. I give Daves kit the thumbs up.

I'm with you on that! Go big its the best deal. Dave kit has the best Ball bearing Garrett turbos, MPI is just Mitsubishi journal bearing turbo bout half the cost.

what gears are you running? i wend with 22-41 which is still to low.

I am running 21-41 ==1.95
That 24- 41==1.71, that is pretty tall. That 190 still pulls those gears pretty well?

i went 22-41 and its not tall enough! should have went 24-41.

I am also running 24/41 gears with 88 link chain, 8 tooth drivers (stock on xtx was 21/41 86 link chain) with hurricanes 240 kit and clutch machining and it pulls very hard! Iv seen 118mph but am sure it has more as I am still playing with clutching. Keep in mind this is an xtx with the 1.6 cobra track and 141 1.860 powerpoint plus studs.
