Does anyone else have stuff out to Hygear right now for rebuild/revalve? I sent my XTX suspension out for the Sport X package last week, confirmed it got there via UPS and called this morning to see if the tech had gotten into things yet- the kid on the phone said it takes 2-3 weeks in the shop!!! I thought I saw something on the website that said about 4-5 days in shop then shipped out... How quickly has everyone else gotten their stuff back? I don't really want to ride the backup sled for that long...

My stuff shipped out early Nov and it too took almost 3 weeks from my door and back again....... Thats 2 days Shipping x 2 = 4, about a week in their shop before they touched it and another week for them to go through it and send it back.
Bummer to wait as it makes you anxious.......... but the end result? That may be worth your while!

Bummer.... guess I will have to ride the rev for a while. Hopefully it will be good and not give me any problems till I can get my Yami back on the snow.

Then factor in some Christmas / New Year holiday time off.
Not everyone works straight through.

Its not a valve job by any means. HyGear does tons of testing and calibration before they sell a package. Springs, hi/lo valves, bladders, add-on resi's, and bump stops are parts that cost money. I will bet my money that they have the best performing "stock" shocks on the market. Its my money pit and its not full yet!

A complete Ohlins package will run you closer to $3500.00. Comparatively I think the Hygear price is very reasonable. It took Ross and the boys some time to come up with their formula. I was impatient. I bought the Ohlins. From Ross.
Huge improvement. The stock XTX suspension needs serious attention!
