Hygear Rear suspender Upgrade

I too wonder if its decent. I've been thinking about doing rear supension on mine.

I just ordered the Hygear bushing kit and bottom roller kit for my GT. I hope it helps with the bottoming out issue.

I don't have a Phazer, but I can provide some insight on this kit.

I have it installed on my '06 Nytro - which has almost the same exact skid. The only difference between my skid, and the Phazer skid is the manner in which the coupling is done.

I have it installed, and put about 100 miles on it this weekend. It is a great improvement for the sled. It allows the skid to work more freely, and it doesn't seem to bind up as much any more. The stutter bumps are where you see the biggest improvement. And the skid doesn't bottom out as much any more on the big big bumps.

I didn't get a revalve done on my shocks though. I simply purchased the linkage kit. A revalve would probably improve it some more. But otherwise, it was money well spent.

Yes, I have this done. Everything looks great in the kit and it goes together without any problems. This weekend I got my first 50 miles on it. Everything seems good so far, but not much for bumps to test it out. Probably will need some tweaks to get it just right.

I ended up with the linkage kit, rear spring spacers, and dual rate springs for the front shocks. I got my rear shocks rebuilt/revalved at the same time.

This kit is intended to eliminate the kick-back in the bigger bumps, as well as improve the ride over studders without sacrificing big bump performance.

I will report back as I get more miles.
