I have the 08 rtx, and i think its time to recharge and i just as well get my shocks revalved,in the rear for sure not for certain if i want to do the floats for sure. Can anyone give me any insight on these companys or any other company, i don't want to spend an arm and a leg if they are only going to be good for a year or something like that, i had these ones dialed in to my likeing, but everyone says what a difference the revalve makes, i am 235 wo suit and i do alot of ditch banging with 4 ft high aproachs we like to jump and some lake and trail riding.

Thanks.

I have Pioneer valving in my 08 RTX.
I think it works good, exept for the centershock that is to soft. Im going to have the centershock revalved a bit harder before snow falls, then it will be great.

For the past three seasons I've had my shocks revalved by Carver Performance and they do an excellent job. The changes they make are very noticible and the ride quality is improved. Their set ups are proven to work in the 2000 mile Iron Dog race.

Carver also does the shocks for the Yamaha snocross team.

Ive been dealing with Bruce at Pioneer for decades...they know theyre stuff and are very fair on pricing...some of the rear shock revalves have made a tremendous difference!

Thanks for the tips guys, i was wondering if anyone had the pro trial setup from hygear its called the sport x package for 400 dollars, it includes bigger hose diffrent spring and other stuff, i was just wondering if this really makes that much more of a diffrence, for 400 i think i could send all 4 of my shocks to get them rebuilt and revalved at pioneer, i know they don'y put on a bigger line, and spring for the rear, i think. thanks for any kind of help one great thing about carver is there only 4hours from here and if they can go thru the iron dog for 2000 miles i'm sure they are great, just wondering how much it would cost?

I'm another satisfied Pioneer costomer. I took my shocks in last season and had all 4 shocks revalved and charged right up. I think it cost around $225 for everything. I did notice the differance right off the get-go. I wanna say that I put on 2000 miles since the revalving and they still seem good. Where I ride in New York, we can get good size moguls and my Nytro never bottomed out.

I had all of mine revalved to my weight and styleat Goodwin performance. That plus the spring and matching them to my old muffin werks for $200. Great quality and service

Did it take the harshness out of the front end? Did the rear skid work better in the stutter bumps?

With the pioneer valving the sled gets incredible in stutterbumps!
I just need more compression daming in the center shock for the really big hits and g-outs.
The front end is worlds better then stock, the front end was the biggest improvement over stock.

DIAMNOND HEAD YAMAHA!
best serivce i have ever had (period) they called and asked my weight, hp of sled, style of riding, everything... the price was amazing and it was so fast! nothing but good things to say about diamond head yamaha

Yes it did. When I ride on the trails around my house, I need to soften my shocks. The other place where I ride I stiffen them right up. It's never more than a few clicks on the rear shocks. Thats the beauty of your shocks on the Nytro. Just a few clicks can make all the differance in the world.

You'd have to call Carver and ask what it would cost. They've got a sheet you fill out with all your details and they also want you to describe what the sled is currently doing and what you want your shocks to do. I'm not aware of them offering a package like the other vendors.

I've just been pleased with the revalve jobs they've done for me. I can physically feel the difference and the sled always rides better. Last season I had all four shocks rebuilt and revalved and was amazed at the difference the clickers now make when fine tuning.

I will say that one of the other two vendors mentioned did the shocks for a Yamaha Iron Dog team and the set up simply didn't work in the cold, Alaska conditions. That said, the set up may have been just fine for the lower 48.

Can I just say it would be impossible to make a mistake selecting any of these guys for a revalve?? They're ALL on top of their games.
