I have read about the sag problem with an xtx and spring spacer fixes but just wondering if anyone ran them on the RTX? Sorry to say but my wish list is complete and just looking for more mods!

BRIAN ;)!

I have the spring spacers, but I also upgraded to the stiffest torsion springs too when I put those in. It helps a bit, but it still kind of sags.

I installed them a couple of years ago and they helped some. For the money I'd say they're worth it but don't expect a dramatic improvement. After relocating the skid and installing a 128" track on my RTX the sag is completely gone. I think the relocate decreased the sled's ride height so the upper portion of the travel and the so called sag is eliminated. The rear suspension seems much stiffer but I won't know what effect this will have on ride and performance until I get it out on the trails.

In theory it should help wrap the spring around it more evenly though, there is a pretty big gap without it, so the spring can move all over the place, putting it in keep the spring wrapping around it instead of flopping all over.

The OEM bushing does have a large gap and the Hygear bushing fills some of it but there needs to be some slop for the torsion spring to compress properly. These bushings do wear over time so it's a good idea to check them and if they need replaced I'd recommend installing Hygear's.
