OK so this poses a problem than,i have a borg 38 bottom,and stock yammie 21 top,i could run that combo,if I had a P/N for the correct hyvo and pitch chain. Now I have been running,stock yammie I guess hyvo chain,on stock 41 borg bottom,and cat 22 borg top,with 3600 miles on them,but do not know what it looks like in there now either.

22/41 takes a 86 chain, to go 21/38 You need a 84. You'l need a new chain or shorten the one you have.

ok - but they r the same difference --- correct - u can use a hyvo chain or a borg warner chain with borg gears - - i do and it works fine. and those gear teeth numbers are great but need part numbers - i have a sheet for top gears but could use the 35, 36, 37, and 38 numbers if someone has then handy

There is a post on here concerning the diff between the HYVO and the silent chain/gear. Knapp posted some pics of the 2 side by side for one to see. The difference is shown and explained.

Copy and pasted from internet site so use caution. Also there is different top gears with holes pre drilled in them now. Always 15W top and 13W bottom. These are Arctic Cat gears.

Thanks,yes I did know I needed a 84 pitch chain,just want to find a correct P/N so I can look to purchase it.
