Whats the limit for how much fuel you can carry?Is it a set limit all around or it goes by tank volume?(bigger tank,more fuel,less stops).

Yeah it's like 13 gal. , were're running the trail tank, 10 gal. well if the race went green for about 80-90 lapes the yamaha's would out last the others, but it seems like there's allways 2-3 yellows. When that happens everyone fuels. every 100 lapes they plow the track, so we top off the fuel too.

Thanks, that's what friday is for , going threw the sled to check and recheck lol theres 2 SRX's, 2 or 3 FX Nytro's, and a Nytro motor in a Apex in the I-500 this year

From what i can see the spindles look pretty funky. Is kris liking them versus what he had before? How is erdmans sled looking in the corners?

Kris likes it, we'll see tomaro. Erdmans sled runs strong, and handles well to.

Well we didan't win the race, but we did finsh. The top yamaha of the day was a 600 srx #90 Bowers from AK.. They ended up 15, and we were 16 one lap down. We had a few problums, the rear tunnel gard came off, eather the bumps or someone skied him, and our shock package wasant that good, them fox-floats might be good for trail riding but not good for the I-500 track, o well theres always next year. Erdman and Gentz was running strong, not sure what happened to them, but Erdman was pulled in, may have been a ripped track, not sure, they never came back out. well the good thing about there sled is that the frontend looked like it took the bumps great. Our frontend held up great to, just the shocks went away . There is some great pictures on Soo I-500 Fan Page on FB, of the track, what a mud run it was, or clay run i should say.

PB, Congrats on finishing what looked like a UP torture test at the last. Do you know if the SRX's were running with the power valves, or are they just something else to give trouble on a long race. {approx. 10 hours?} RR

ya they were running power valves still, that srx was just a stock motor with a can that thing ran all day, didant miss a beat. i gess there was only one srx in the race, the othe ran in the rookie round up, he got 2nd, and the Pro-Am race on thursday night

Thanks everyone on TY that was rooting for Team #85, Eichenberg Racing and Yamaha. It was a fun week of quailfying and racing cant wate till next year.

And the sled looked good at the start til you could see the shock give way other than that both you and erdman definatley had speed to hang with everyone which most say the nytro doesnt have
Gives me hope to try to put one together we (#02 J&M racing used to race with you guys until they banned the 4cy) good to see yammis in the race again

That is Kris's sister Kirsten. Them nytro's run really strong, Gentz's sled has a FX Nytro motor to, just in a Apex chassi
