Ok, all of my snowmobiling friends have abandoned me this year, it appears that they are working more overtime to pay for bills this year and have less time for riding. So the moral of the story is if you live or are in central Maine or are even going to northern Maine for a ride and are also looking for someone to ride with let me know. I blame this on the increased cost of living and failure to regulate fuel and heating prices.

You won't find a better riding partner than the site member Hondo located in northern Maine.

Starting around January 7th, I'll be riding for 60 plus days straight.
If you are in the Eagle Lake, Fort Kent area, shoot me a PM, I'll ride with you.
No doubt, it's getting more expensive to ride.

Cost combined with shorter season are issues. Two of my former riding friends have sold thier sleds because of the cost of towing and riding.
I'm still riding but I will not go up to Pittsburg or Diamond pond like I used to.

What is the name of that place by the lake, I think it is like a motel/dinner, I am thinking about taking a few days and just riding from place to place. Not something I envisioned doing by myself but if you can't join them, leave them behind. If you see a Red/Sliver 04 Warrior just sitting beside the trail, pick me up I will be walking and tiered.

I think you are reffering to "Fiddle Heads" by the rail road tracks.
I sent you a PM. Give me a call when you are in the area.

How is Maine for snow. On a annual snow fall map, Maine is one of the better states. Right up there with the U.P. ??????

I went out riding today it it was awsome, except for two or three little watter holes, in the big picture the water holes are nothing. Did a 180 mile trip today and they where good enough to to 25-50 in the woods and I was able to safely to 50-85 in the fields and railroad beds. Trip was from Lincoln to Sherman.
We lost some snow (in inches) but the snow is getting wetter so it is going to pack and groom well, assuming if we still have some by the end of the week.

Let me know if you're doing any local riding sometime - live in Orono and have a camp on Cold Stream.
