Yea guys.......... he's "working on it" This line of $hit translates into, "come mid September or first of October when i really get my new Nytro (providing he really ordered one) I'll post some pics of it.

C'mon....... cut the :crap: here. I for one, have a very good friend of mine who has an XTX on order from Mukwanago Yamaha in Mukwanago WI, & they told him the earliest he could hope for would be Mid-September.

So, goofus here saying he got a scoop on an '09 sled the first of July is a crank yanker. :moon:

Nytro ER, RTX, MTX
Vectors gt, ltx
Apex gt, ltx
pz rtx
are out there now, xtx & se along with venture gt come in later August.

He said he got a Nytro ER not an XTX.

I was told

Dealer told me that by the first of September we should have ours in. We have two race sleds (RTX SE's ) and one practice sled RTX se also.
Also ordered new front end for one of my race sleds from last year.

wanna see pics?

I have had 09 sleds at my dealership since the end of last month. No se or xtx yet, but here are some pics of a rtx that is already sold. See pic of gusseted front subframe and wet left boot deflector fix under secondary clutch. enjoy!!!

I could post a pic of the joints but, they dont look any different than the 08 really. The last tech update school I went to, Yamaha said that the problem with joints was that when the outer socket was made, some had a rough spot or sharp edge on the inside of the socket. Causing the woven metal mesh that is coated with teflon style material to wear prematurely and eventually spit itself out causing excessive play. I was assured that the 09 joints will not have this issue. I will have to ck again, because there was supposed to be an updated part # for the 08 sleds also.
Ill let ya know what I find out.
Jon

I just ckd the 08 lower ball joint #8GK-23579-00-00 on the yamaha dealer system and it comes up as discontinued. The updated # is 8GK-23579-01-00 but will not be available to ship until end of sept at best.

Thanks for the pics, much appreciated!

I don't know how many Dealers out there that would do this.

Did you notice any other changes in the design of the Nytro?

There is also another gusset welded in behind where the lower a- arms mount ( towards the track ). Have not had a lot of time to go over it real close. We were fortunate enough to have the northeast corporate truck with the 09 demos at our shop in march. Everyone who tried the 09 sleds noticed a big difference in the front end, including myself.
Hey Grimm, did you get a chance to try out a se before you ordered one?
I swear you could launch that thing off a 3 story building.... Man I LOVE that sled. Just be prepared to hammer through small stuff or get beat to death. The driver of the truck had just gotten new suspension calibrations from the "mothership" and didnt want me to play with it, so to say it was stiff would be an understatement. I rode a 800x pkg xp about a week before I rode the se, and the se made the doo feel like a solo tourer!

No, never rode a Nytro, at the sled show here in Ottawa, I really wanted to look it over, however it wasn't even out on display due to the missing shocks.

That would be something though, me launching the sled in the air...I run about 260 lbs...so the tougher and stiffer the suspension, the better.
