Pick up my new 2014 FX Nytro tomorrow

Mountaintech skidplate is a must-have like others have said, I completely lost my stock one on a ride. I also added coupling blocks to try and control some of the wheelies which helps with the handling a little. Temperature gauge and ice scratchers are also a good idea, they overheat pretty easy in marginal snow conditions and the scratchers help hyfax wear as well. You will need a bushing kit for the front end eventually, they get loose pretty quick. Not the best handling Sled in the twisties but once set up they actually do pretty well in the rough. Stock skis on my 09 left allot to be desired but you should get tuner skis which hear are good. Motor is awesome, the main reason I bought a Viper to replace it. 5000 miles and I have blown 1 belt and it's never been towed home, it usually does the towing. I swear it is still getting faster. Been a awesome Sled, sold it to my brother in law and he will enjoy it for many years to come.

Just rode my new 2013 today also..
Needs reloacotor for steering position without a doubt.
Would like to get the rear end up a bit more too.
Everything else seemed comfortable but being y first 4stroke it was Hardin corners, tippy, and a completely different ride than my 2 strokes

It's by far one of the quirkiest sleds ever built, but I sure like mine and I haven't put hardly anything into it other then Tuner skis (did not come standard in '12), Dupont sliders, and a Mountaintech skid plate. If Yamaha would have used the Gen. II front geometry and Tuner skis from the start in '08 the Nytro would have a much better reputation today.
