First off the seats look good. The reps said that the seats in the photo's were hand made and not built exactly like the production one's will be. I was pleased to hear that
First off I think the Attak looks the best. I really think the longer skid makes the rear of the sled look more in proportion to the front giving an overall better looking sled. Very comfortable to set on and you have many positions to choose from. You can scooch up and ride it like a REV or stretch out and ride it like your current ride. I was surprised at how good the position of the Bars felt. Both in height and width. I got the feeling that I was setting on the sled, not in it. I can sense how much easier it may be to control over my Warrior. I do have to admit that I prefer the looks of my Black with Yellow Warrior over any of them. The Apex's did nothing for me. The RTX which I love in the pictures did nothing for me. I didn't like the flames, they didn't look right to me. The GT looked mean but I didn't like the Black painted tunnel. I can see it getting scratched pretty easy, especially from our boots.
If you guys get a chance to go see them do it.
My only question is this, how did Adam (Yamaha rep) know I was Mighty Warrior

I forgot about the mountain, it just plain looked cool
I didn't look at any of the 3 holers (sorry Guys) up close. They looked good from a distance but I just wasn't interested.

Mighty - did you take a look at the cooling fan and radiator? Was it on the mountain sled too?
Also - Did you notice if the mountain sled had a rear heat exchanger?
My thoughts are - IF
I get one of these sleds - the radiator/fan may be a way to lose some quick (cheap) lbs. off the front.

The radiator was above the right footwell. I didn't notice on the Mountain but did see the rear cooler on the Attak. The rep said it was only there because it was a proto type. Production sleds will not have them.

Mighty, The black tunnel was the first thing I noticed on the net. Natural
aluminum is the only way to go.

Mighty, when did we ever say you could have a take, judging by your number of posts you've given your take often enough around here
Oh, I forgot to say THE 2006'S ROCK!

The Mtn Apex did not have the radiator as it was a working machine. It had a "sx" style cooler under the tunnel extension. IF I get the Mtn, I have a nice big U cooler sitting in my garage waiting to go on. As far as I could tell the "running " machines did not have radiators, as I could only find 1 on the floor with it Nice to meet ya Mighty.
I forgot to add. If anyone is concerned about scrathing the paint off the tunnel, go get clear number plate background and put it on. My 8 yr old sx still looks brand new and not a scratch yet.

only looks can tell
We came back from riding all the new 06s .great job yamaha !!!!! The attack is a lot more friendly than the warrior. the apex was set up a little stiff but rode great thur the bumps.vector gt was real great looking seld and rode fine also.nitro was the most impressive with very little looks but rode and handled twice as good as the vector. freddy they all still have that low speed lag with out your kit. we will be bringing out 06s to you as soon as they come in.the seats are ugly but ride better than any seat i have ridin in 45 years. all in all they have risin to a new level in ride, power, and performance for every one
