Seen the 05's in person today, I gotta question

My dealer had an RX-1 and Warrior side by side and I noticed that on the dash of the RX-1 it had a rubber panel while the Warrior was just like mine and had a hard plastic panel. Any idea why the RX-1's was rubber?

PS, The red was OK, the flat black didn't agree with me. Bottom line I still think my 04 Black with the Yellow flames is the Tits

I was told by my dealer that it was made from rubber to help with vibration..... Sure hope it will look better with a little Armour All or it's equal on it.

That's what caught my eye, it was a chalky color. But why didn't the Warrior have it? Silly me, the Warriors don't vibrate

Sun deflector. The windshield would magnify the sun rays and cause the dash to get warm and sometimes a little deformation would occur. No kidding..

05 rx-1 and I have plastic on mine, and it is melted!!Is this really from the sun?

Yes it used to happen on opur sport bikes too it would melt and fade the dash pieces being out in the sun so much

i hope its more flexible.i cracked my dash pieces 3 times last season in different incedents
