Well here we go! After last season and being so unhappy with my Viper XTX to this year being super pumped every time I drag it out of the trailer, I have decided to not stop sledding when the snow melts.
I just purchased a 2015 Viper XTX SE and am delivering it to Allen Ulmer to build me a killer grass/Ice drag sled. It will not be ready in time to make any more of the NSSR Ice drags this year but I am planning on campaigning it all summer on the grass drag circuit. Stage 1 will be about 320 ish hp using a CAT xf1100 turbo at 20#'s of boost. I will have the option at a later time to take it up with a larger volume turbo.
So far this year I have raced several re mapped xf1100's on lakes, The radar runs in Minocqua, WI and this weekend the NSSR ice drags in Forest Lke MN and have cought the bug to go faster.

there is a guy by me that has that feel with the apex. now he wants t build a 2 up vector with 20lbs of boost. BOOST IS ADDICTING. but expensive.
I am selling my 69 Barracuda Formula S and my 535 hp 68 Dodge Dart GTS because they do not give me the rush this thing does. 535 hp 3000 lbs vs 320 hp in 520 lbs is mind blowing.
And yes it is expensive but once it is built I should have years of fun with very little expense to run it

Its ok though Allen said I can live in his shop!!!I will have to use the "that old thing? thats been here forever" to counteract the FFLF (female fun limitation factor)
did no sleep a wink last night so pumped to go pick up the new sled today. Its funny I had no problem driving 120 miles o meet the buyer of my Pro S last Friday but if I think about selling my 14 Viper or not doing this new sled a tear actually appears.
Oh yeah you are addicted! There should be a warning sticker that non turbo riders should never ride a turbo. It honestly is something a guy never forgets!
On the contrary we should all be required to ride one!!!! imagine how many they would sell then!!!

I was surprised how many guys were at the NSSR race last week with turboed vipers, it was great to see and everyone was awesome!

I am scared to ride one, not because of the speed or aceleration BUT because of the future expense I know would follow. So I just get excited reading about them and riding my STOCK Viper. OOOOH I wish, I wish................. stop that now.

It is, but you know what... It is Soooo worth it!
Yamadoo what is a snomobile aholic? I assume a person who spends way to much time and money on a toy that can only be used maybe 3 months a year? With a turbo you get a lot more miles more quickly!!!!

I hate the white tunnel it's dirty already! Mountain seat? I thought the XTX came with regular seat good thing I got a spare! the new gauge no longer shows water temp just a bar will need to change that! Tuner skis they will go nicely on the 14 for trail use.
