you are correct 4kops, talked to him last night late. He added only 1 gal race fuel to his apex and turned it to 12lbs. Any body still doubting that it makes 265 plus HP only needs to see this. That is in only 660 ft! That is faster than the 1000 improvers making that type of power. As far as his race turbo at 140, well, that is faster than the 1000 open mods, and he is doing it with a full bodied machine. Nice work Jeff.
yes its true, 140 mph in 660 ft, nobody could believe it, not bad for its first ever ice speed run. a big thanks to those who put on the speed run, my driver tim stienke, and my crew kevin and dan. it was a fun day. also got to show off our cpr apex turbo, it ran 116.7 mph in 660 ft at 12 lbs boost with a stock engine and 1 gallon of race fuel added to the tank. glad to hear yours ran good as well mike, its tough to believe how far these yamaha turbos have come. jeff
