I bought the kit from BOP that go on the skis which he makes and supply's the mounts, just make sure to use plenty of Loctite, ask me why.....:o| lost the carbide tips, not enough Loctite?

Heres my wifes set up, I made my own brackets. Also have them on my Nytro.

have ski mounted from BOP. lost both my carbide tips on first trip. installed stainless steel bolts in place of tips and work great. carry a spare set in the back . easy to change out

I really like the Duraflex scratchers and mount from Barn of Parts as mentioned already. There wasn't a great spot on my Vector's skid but I do like them on my skis except I can't keep them on the skis when I have plenty of snow, the key keeps pulling out.

Going to use bolts with a large fender washer to replace the carbide tips.

i use regular home elect wire to solve that issue because its rigid. i keep a few extra 4in strands in back also. insert and give a cpl twists .

Great idea, I'm going to use it!

yea and most of us prob have a pile of it laying around . lol is no use to me since all home projects pretty much done

Thanks all....Im leaning towards the Canadian brand by Qualipieces , Trailblizzers.... plastic coated heavy cable, carbide tipped, with a great locking plate that keeps them from loosening..
I think they will rail mount on my 11 Apex xtx.
