Witch pattern would be better for the XTX???

I saw a pattern that was 170 studs I think, I figured that skipping every third row would give around 130 studs, You want to have enough studs since having too few will increase the chance of pull throughs and bent/broken studs. Find a pattern you like and you can always skip or add to get the desired quanity. Just my .02

How much better will a 1.5 inch ripsaw work in the powder and loose stuff compared to the 1.25inch?

I personally dont think the difference in the powder will justify the time and cost of swapping. If you want a 1.5 camoplast makes a 144 crossover and a 1.75 144 back country. Both of these tracks are wayyy better than the ripsaw in the fresh snow/powder. These will justify your time swapping. Rumour has it camoplast will be making a 144 cobra next year and that would probaly be a great choice as well. Lets wait and see.

I have an ice ripper on ZR, and I am amazed at the hook up with that track. Would love to buy an ice ripper for my XTX. Problem is the biggest track that make is a 136.

Seriously considering studding the XTX. Just the hook up and the traction is worth it.

RR

I have the ICE Ripper on my Attak and its horible....on top end on ice it would spin...and the track is starting to delaminate with under 2000miles...would never buy again
