I am looking at studding my x-tx. After searching the posts I think I am going to go with 114 studs. My only question is the type of template you use for this pattern. I was going to go with woody's studs and order one of their templates. The one they recommend is the long track template but they also recommend 152 studs with some on the outside of the track. Can you use their template to just do 114 studs down the middle? Just curious I've never studded my sleds before and any advice or information would be appreciated!

Use their pattern for 96 studs in a short track pattern and that will get you 2 studs per lug and give you 114 total on the XTX.

I love the woodys double double, single sinlgle pattern 144 up the middle. I believe that the nytro is a little top heavy as compared to other sleds so I don't like to stud the outside of the track. I believe that when the sled is going over the outside studs seal the deal and send you down. but the 144 up the middle pattern will lift off the ground when the track is tipping the wrong way.. This is my opinion. they hook up GREAT!!!. also studding the outside can cause the track to tear easier...............B

Bye the way I just posted this about ten threads up..............................B
