Anyone have some suggestions about how to get a bearing off the axle. Banging with a hammer didn't work. Think I can heat the bearing a little bit so it will expand, then hammer off? Or should a purchase a puller?

Little heat and she'll pop off.

You just need a 3 jaw gear puller. You can borrow one from Auto Zone. They are pretty cheap to purchase. Every sled owners garage should have one.

If its really really REALLY bad and the heat doesn't work, smash off the outer race, balls, and cage, and use a 1/4" grinder or dremel to cut the inner race.

Just go get a 3 jaw puller. Don't need heat or a hammer. Sandpaper the mount and install new wheel.
