Hey guys I noticed when i have the rear on a hoist doing track tension that the 2 rear idlers have a bit of wobble at slow speeds. Soon as i hit a bit of throttle they even out. I just replaced the track and checked all the bearings in the wheels and they are good. This normal?

Rear axle tightened back up after doing the tension? that might do it if it's still loose. Did u have the axle out when u went over everything, maybe a missing washer or something so the collars won't quite tighten up all the way on the bearing. probably something little like that, just have to double check everything. If all is tight and there is still wobble then the bearing is starting to go, just not seized up yet.

Yes i tightened the axle. I had the axle out and checked all the bearings. I also checked a Parts breakdown too make sure all washers and spacers are in place. Can the yamaha spoked wheels warp?

Suppose they probably could with heat or something, not a normal circumstance though. I've never seen it, have seen them start to spider crack and eventually break and fall off. or the outer rubber ring get a little beat up or torn off. maybe someone else will chime in with other experiences. good luck

I think I know what you mean. I have noticed after reinstalling my skid with all new bearings the wheels are not perfectly true. But I have never had a problem and have run them for a few thousand kms in the season.
Sounds like you have double checked the order of parts in the axle. If its all good, and the movement is slight - I wouldn't sweat it.

I bought new rear idler wheels a couple of years ago from Yamaha and after installing I noticed what appeared to be wheel wobble. It ended up being the plastic grey covers were not perfectly centered on the wheel and when rotated they looked to be wobbling.
