07 carbed apex.. Sled would not idle before.. Removed carbs and cleaned them.. Now it idles great but it won't open up.. I know the jets are clean and I'm going to replace spark plugs but I'm almost positive its not a plug problem.. What have I missed.. Haven't worked on yamaha 4 strokes much

07 Apex does not have carbs. Its fuel injected with throttle bodies. If this is some kind of retro fit then you didnt clean the carbs good enough.

LOL, I would bet its a RX1... Go thru and be sure to clean the pilots.

Take the tops off the carbs and check and make sure one of the needles didn't pop out. It doesn't take much to break those little retainer tabs that hold the needles in as well. Easy to check first before removing the carbs again. A popped out needle would make it act like that. One more thing, make sure those little orings are in place under the cap, they are easy to lose.....

Have you checked compression and leak down?

might be a long shot but sometimes these things arced from the coil cap to the valve cover. Easy to check when running and see if any arcing across. Shouldn't be a bog though, more like a miss or bad plugs feeling. I know you said you cleaned the carbs,,,,, BUT,,,,,,,, you need to make sure those pilot jets are very clean. Run a guitar string or a bread tie wire down through them. Lastly,, is this a stock sled, as in hasn't been rejetted or airbox modded? stick with it... you'll find it.
