My gytr ultra q did the very same thing and my dealer said I was lucky I didn't melt the plastic in back. He saw several problems with these not holding up. If its from Yamaha as in gytr, they will warrantee the muffler.

Yeah internally mine cracked also-no hole though. Stand up guys, they said mail it back and they will replace it. 3 year warranty. Also said there where improvements to the new one. Mine was getting a miss at full throttle that's why I decided to pull it off and take a look.

What are you talking about,I paid for a Super Q and it said Super Q on the box. It is rounded

In your picture it doesn't quite look like my Super Q which was perfectly round in shape where yours looks more oval in shape. That thing looks pretty beat. How old is it? Where did you buy it from?

Its about 1.5 years old and I bought it from Skinz them self.

Maybe they changed the Super Q. I bought mine this year and it is round. Maybe they updated the design since you bought it. I have 1550 miles on mine this year and seems to be holding up nicely. That is why yours looks like the Ultra, not the Super Q.

A Super Q is round in shape. The Ultra Q is oval. Unless when they first came out they were both oval, but the Super Q's that I have seen have always been round.

I don't have a GYTR,So maybe since they are a different company they are a different shape?
