I never like the tail of the running board flex. The GYTR fish bones helped, but I was looking for more.

Thanks...however I can't take credit for the welding. I mocked them up on the sled an had someone weld.

built them.

If you built them then why did you call the GYTR Fish bones?

Thats a trade mark for Genuine Yamaha Technology parts.

He is saying that he had the GYTR fishbones already, but wanted something extra, so he built his own extra supports.

MrSled he didn't build the fish bones he said they helped but wanted more support so he made the tubular support at the back of the running boards.

Looks awesome! 08´s footrest is even worse.
Called for CNC machinery and they made these with my measurements.

Thickness is 3mm. Side list & corner support from Cat M8 coming...

These are already stiffer than stock and maybe wont get stuck so easily...

Nice and clean lines.

I think connecting the outer edge of the running boards to the rear of tunnel makes a big difference in rigidity. Look at how other manufactures are connecting theirs now. It is a better design. [/code]

That looks awesome Puppe. Was that just a local machine shop that made those for you?
Company is called Bling Factory.
They are selling those now 70 Euros/pair, don´t know do they sell outside Europe.

You´re right, I´m ordering Cat M8 pieces, those looked best choice for me.
Too bad there´s no Cat seller at my home town at the moment.

Puppe, Im really interested in seeing how this turned out.
I have been looking for something like this for quite some time now.
