I'm a new guy here. Have been on sleds since my first one, a '74 Polaris 250 Colt. I've read a lot of the posts here doing research on my next new sled. Currently have a '00 MM600 that has been a faithful servant. After watching Yam build the phazer mountain last year, I hoped that they'd make something like the Nytro MTX this year.
I dropped a deposit on a MTX today, including a high windshield, rear cargo rack, exhaust turnout, and hand guards. Hopefully this will handle the twisty powder filled two tracks where I ride (UP Michigan, NW of Ishpeming) at least as well as my MM did. Thanks to everyone that posted here; it has helped me with this decision.
A couple of burning questions maybe you guys could help with--
What do you think I could get for my '00 MM600 (good shape, 4K miles)?
Do you think I'll be able to smoke my buddie's '05 800 Polaris SKS with the Nytro? To date, he hasn't been able to stick with me in the twisties, but I'm tired of looking at his tail flap on the lakes.
