I'm not sure what to think of the link. Because it has happened a lot with the FX's but could it happen with the GT's? Or could the link be snapping from bottoming out real hard? I would like to find out about the link. I have a bottoming kit on, would that help?

Not sure how close the suspension are, but if you look at the link in the fx you can see why it breaks. Poor welding job at best underdesinged at worst. If Your just touring I doupt you'll ever see it break. I rode allot of bumps/ moguls before it failed.

You should be good for 500 to 700 km more before it pops.
