Why? because you bought a bone stock cookie cutter sled when mine comes loaded with all the work done for you. It has studded track with tunnel protectors ($300) Ultra Q exhaust ($280) an Ulmer clutch kit ($100) GYTR bumper ($140), skid plate ($100), hand guards ($50) and a deluxe cover ($150).
If you are happy with a stock sled than thats great but if you are going to accessorize like most people and myself I could have saved you a total of $1420!!

For what it's worth, I see $5k of value in your sled and would have paid it if I didn't already have 2 Phazers.redrocker07 said:rcolsen said:I just paid $5300 out the door for a 07 FX carry over - with all the updates including the fan, full warrentty... What would I pay $4999 for a used sled.

Hopefully, there are others out there who feel the same and will buy it from you like yesterday.

??????? Is that some new kind of english because I only understand part of it.
Mine is paid for as well and I don't have to sell but I usually get a new sled every year or so when a new model comes out and I really like the new MXZ-XP. I love everything about my Phazer except the sound - I miss the sweet sound of a 2 stroke with an MBRP silencer.

If you get a new sled every year then you should already realize what you are going to lose. Sounds kind of silly to think you wouldnt lose on a four stroke just like you will on a two stroke! One of my friends got a new doo xp and they were already taking off a thousand dollars and this first year isnt even over. That is how the game is played no matter four strokes or two!

I've seen your sled advertised redrocker. If I was in the market I'd be making an offer - but yes resale is poor on sleds! Low snow, excess inventory, the michigan economy, and entry level sleds are always worse off. I've been trying to get wife approval to buy all year - tons of smoking deals out there this year - especially in Michigan!

i bought my 07 phazer fx with 890 miles on it and 2 years of warranty for $4000. you take a big hit on a new sled if you dump it.

I certainly realize losing money selling a year old sled but I have NEVER lost this much money.

I paid nearly $7000 for the sled plus the $1000 in accessories and I have lost nearly half the value - what happened to 4 strokes holding their value??
I have it on craigs list now- maybe I will have better luck.

I hope you have better luck! A gentleman just sold two GT Phazer stock here with less than three hundred miles on each for four thousand each!
